In 1998 Andreas Davids founded Xotox with the aim to produce hard electronic music. The first self released album "Stückgut" was a small success in the underground-scene.
The next releases “Epos” und “Monolith” did the same. After releasing the next album “Disinhibition” a few live-gigs were done ( Wiesbaden, Höxter and Jena) where Xotox has shown his live-qualities. The next releases “Normalzustand : angst” and “Rhythm of fear (live in Jena)” got really good response in some magazins (online and print).
In 2002 the albums "Silberfieber” and the minialbum “Nothing”, including the massive club-hits "Eisenkiller", “Nothing”, “Null” and “Zweischicht”, were released and presented live with huge success (live in Berlin, Tübingen, Dortmund and Jena). Since june 2003 Xotox has worked with Pronoize (www.darkdimensions.de) a great partner on his side.
From November 2003 on "Lichtlos", the "Debutalbum" on Pronoize is released and has reached #1 in the DAC (german alternative charts).
