This space contains instructions on how to start contributing, and how to start a new article.

Getting Started

1 - Browse the categories that are linked from the Main Page. If the article you are looking for is not there, then...
2 - Do a search for the article by using the search field to the left. If the article doesn't exist. You will receive a message that looks like this:
There is no page titled "Your Search". You can create this page.
3 - Click the "create this page" link and it will take you to a place where you can start editing a new article.
4 - Copy and Paste the template below into the editing box. The template contains all the basic fields you need to edit in order to create a new article.
5 - Click on the "Save this page" button. Your article has now been added to the database!
You can also upload images to use on your articles by going to Special:Upload.

Adding a Country Category

It's easy to add countries to the database. Here are the steps to creating a new country category:

1. Create or edit the article which will be associated with the artist.
2. At the end of the article make sure you have a country category. For example [Category:Canada]
3. Save the article.
4. Click on the country name at the bottom of the article. It will take you to a page where you can create the category.
5. Add a line similar to this: "This is a list of Powernoise artists, labels, clubs and DJs from Canada."
6. Give it categories for Artists, labels, DJs and clubs to make sure it shows up on the right list.
7. Save.

The country will be added to the database.
