Dark Intentions started in 2004 in Lowell Massachusetts as one of New England's only Saturday night industrial, goth clubs. Although catering to a wide cross section of industrial goth culture, several of the DJ's have made powernoise and rhythmic noise a staple regularly spinning C2, This Morn' Omina, Terrorfakt, and Mono No Aware among others.

In 2006 the club shut down operations in Lowell and is opening it's own space only a few miles away in Nashua, New Hampshire in Fall of 2007.
