Cybernoize was formed in 1999 in South Australia by a number of those who were previously running the Blasphemy Nightclub. The club kicked off with a very successful Black Lung gig at the now closed In-Zone nightclub (the gig sold out before midnight and they were turning people away at the door!). Between 1999 and 2002 a number of Cybernoize nights were run in Adelaide, where the aim of the event was to bring powernoise to Adelaide clubbers. In 2002 the 2 key Cybernoize members moved to Melbourne where they continued to run the club in conjunction with a number of local industrial clubs (including Heresy and Cyberball). Since 2005 Cybernoize has been running irregular special events rather than regular gigs, including multiple Black Lung gigs, The DJ Producer, Lenny Dee, Mark N, Paulblackout, Killjoy, Dysphemic and of most note, the 2005 Distorted Festival which boasted such acts as Converter, Enduser, Black Lung, Mono No Aware, Scorn and Architect. Cybernoize also played a part responsibility for bringing Iszoloscope to Melbourne in 2004.

The Cybernoize crew were Defused Fusion (AKA Biodef) and Binary Distortion (AKA tixEoN).

Cybernoize officially retired after The DJ Producer gig in November 2007. Reasons stated have revolved around increasing external pressures on time and finances, with all partings reported as amicable.
